Ensembles
In addition to my every-day teaching, I am fortunate enough to be involved with a number of ensembles throughout the month.
Since 2009 I have been the director of Lincoln Music Workshop Recorder Group which meets in North Hykeham, most weeks between September and April.
In 2016 I set up the East Midlands Recorder Orchestra which meets in Balderton most months.
Further afield is the London Recorder Orchestra which meets down in Clapham each month. I have been a joint conductor of the orchestra for several years and also enjoy arranging music for them to play.
The Society of Recorder Players meet throughout the year. My ‘local’ branches, Lincolnshire and South London, each meet once a month but, as a visiting conductor, I’m regularly invited to visit branches across the UK. My conducting diary helps me to keep track of where to go next!
